Full Moon in Virgo

Sweet Dreams, Seekers. Tonight the moon is full in the Earthy Sign of Virgo. Full Moons are celebrations, a culmination of sorts beginning with the previous New Moon in the same sign. Six months ago, the New Moon in Virgo occurred in the late Summer of 2020. What were you imagining for yourself? Has it come to pass?

Here we are on the verge of spring. We’re still inside but we’re dreaming of longer and warmer days. The Virgo Full moon is ruled by Mercury, the great Communicator. Finally having stationed direct after a 3-week retrograde journey, Mercury sits with Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius. I don’t know about you, but as soon as Mercury started moving forward again, I woke up after a three week sleep. Every planet in our solar system is moving forward at present. It’s a good time to start imagining your future. Virgo is practical and grounded. So speak your plans into existence. Write them down. Who do you want to be when the pandemic is over? How are you connecting to your community? How are you being of service? In these crazy times, sometimes the best way to get out of your own way, to get out of your own head is to reach out to those who are in greater need.

The Sun is in Pisces, nestled between Venus and Neptune. Pisces invites us to daydream and imagine the best possible scenarios for ourselves, our families and our world. Our imaginations are powerful. I heard somewhere that humans are the only animals that daydream. Allow yourself to dream and to travel in your mind. What if you could transport yourself anywhere in the world? Hey Siri, send me to the Mediterranean. Build me a treehouse on the sea.

This full moon in Virgo may have you cleaning out your closets and donating all those clothes you don’t wear to Goodwill. That’s a good Virgo word. Good Will. Share your stuff. Get organized. Clean out the refrigerator. Clean up your diet. Virgo rules our digestion so it’s a good time to think about your gut health. Probiotics, yogurt, Kombucha. Raise a glass to the longer days. Things are looking up.
